LCA was organized in 1967 as a private, non-sectarian, not for profit Christian school.

Accreditation

Association of Christian Schools International, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Recognized by the Virginia Department of Education as an accredited private school.

Description

Liberty Christian Academy is a Christian, co-educational school with Grades Pre K through 12. School divisions are as follows: Pre K, K-5 (Lower School), 6-8 (Middle School), and 9-12 (Upper School).

Faculty

LCA teachers are required to secure ACSI and Virginia Department of Education certification.

Graduate Profile

95 percent of LCA graduates enroll in post secondary programs upon graduation from the high school.

School Year

180 days of instruction divided into 9 week quarters.

Curriculum

LCA offers a varied curricular program designed to meet the needs of enrolled students. An enrichment program is available in the lower school and a number of exploratory courses are offered in grades 5-7. The upper school curriculum includes a range of offerings on the general education level and honors level. Dual enrollment credits are available to qualified students through Liberty University. Fine arts and practical arts courses are also available.
