Our Curriculum |

LCA strives to provide the best balanced education to each student that comes through the school. For this reason, LCA does not limit the curriculum to any one publishing company as the main source for teaching. LCA does a tremendous amount of research (surveys (parent, alumni, teacher); comparisons to state, national, and standardized test objectives; visits to other schools; etc.) to develop their own standards and objectives. We ensure that Biblical principles are integrated into our standards and objectives. We use published resources as a guide to help implement our own standards. We work together with Academic Coaching, teachers, and administration to provide regular assessment and remediation to ensure students are meeting our standards. Our curriculum is under constant review. Our teachers and staff are consistently revising subjects and researching our standards to improve them and provide a quality education to our students. This approach allows us to ensure that we are preparing our students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically in order to allow them to realize their full potential in Christ and participate as Godly members of home, church, and society. |
