2017 Math Packets Are Now Available on Edline
Each mathematics student is encouraged to complete a summer math packet. This will allow the students to review concepts prior to their return and to be better prepared for next year. This packet is not to be a burden and should be easily completed in a reasonable amount of time. Click Here to find your summer math packet!

 

For students entering 7th Grade Pre-AlgebraHonors Algebra IHonors Algebra IIHonors GeometryCollege Math 128Honors Advanced Math, or Honors Calculus, the Summer Math Packet is required. Packets are due on the first full day of classes. 

 

Optional SUMMER READING PROGRAM K-12

We are excited to announce our summer reading program at LCA! Summer reading is a great way to strengthen comprehension and keep reading skills sharp. Elementary students will participate in READO, a summer reading version of BINGO, where students will read a variety of genres and earn exciting incentives. Middle and high school students will have summer AR goals where they can earn extra credit on their 1stquarter English grade.

 

The LCA Library will be open this summer for students to check out books and take AR tests. The LCA librarians will be available to suggest titles, or help finding authors or award winning books.

LCA Library offers FREE eBooks & Audiobooks

If you can’t make it to Summer Library but still want to read, you can access free eBooks and audiobooks in 5 easy steps:

1.       Go to the school website at www.lcabulldogs.com

2.       Click on the “Academics” tab on the Home page

3.       Under “Programs,” click on the “Library” link 

4.       Scroll down the page to the section titled “Connecting to LCA TumbleBooks”

5.       Select either TumbleBook Premium (elementary) or TumbleBook Cloud (middle/high) and enjoy!!

There is no limit on the number you choose, no downloads, and no waiting list! If you can access the internet, you can be reading, watching, or listening to fantastic content!

 

Summer Theatre Camp

Registrations are now being accepted for LCA’s summer theatre camp. The camp lasts for two full weeks from July 17-28 and is open to students entering the 2nd through the 9th grades. Pick up  brochure in the LCA Lobby, or email rsjones2@liberty.edu. Register soon as space is limited!

CHRISTIAN WORLDVIEW BOOT CAMP AT LU IN JULY
