Senior Meeting at the Hancock Welcome Center on September 11, 14 and 19
Seniors and parents: there is a mandatory meeting(for all LU prospects) with Liberty University Admissions September 11, 14, &19. Please select one of these dates, and attend the meeting at 7 p.m. at the LU Hancock Welcome Center (Visitor Center). This meeting will provide information and a checklist about the applocation process for Liberty. Admissions counselors will also be available for domestic and international prospective students.

FAFSA WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS OF CURRENT LCA SENIORS
Every year, college-bound seniors and their families are required to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and the VTAG (Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant). The Financial Aid Office at LU would like to offer LCA families a night where they explain both the FAFSA and VTAG in detail. This event will take place on Tuesday, October 24, at 6:00 pm in the Choir Room 263. Families will complete the paper application for VTAG and the computer labs, room 214 & 218, to begin the FAFSA online. If your family is interested, please RSVP to Mrs. Purcell in the Guidance Office at (434) 832-2026.

Senior Meeting Regarding Caps and Gowns with Herff Jones Representative on October 2
On Monday, October 2nd, a Herff Jones representative will be here to discuss ordering graduation caps, gowns, and announcements at 8:30am. This meeting is for students only. Your senior will bring home order forms to be filled out and turned in no later than Tuesday, October 10th. That day, all seniors will be released from their Bible classes to meet with Herff Jones to turn in their order forms. There are no fees for caps and gowns. If they do not want to order graduation announcements, thank you cards, and other “Class of 2018” items, they need to at least fill out the portion of the form pertaining to their graduation gown. Height and weight are needed to complete this form.

Senior Picture Make-up Day on November 7
On Tuesday, November 7th, Lifetouch will be here to photograph any senior that was not here in August. In order to have your picture in the yearbook, Lifetouch must take the picture.

Graduation Announcements on March 26
Graduation announcements, ordered from Herff Jones, can be picked up from the high school office on
Monday, March 26th, during B lunch or after school.
Baby Pictures due April 3
Every year at graduation, we highlight and recognize each student as they walk across the stage to receive their diploma with a baby picture and their senior picture. In order to do this we need everyone to send in a baby picture of your graduate. Please send this in digital format to firstname.lastname@example.org or in an envelope with the student’s name on the back of the picture. We must receive all baby pictures no later than April 3rd.
Junior/Senior Banquet on April 21
The Junior/Senior Banquet will be held on Friday, April 21st in the LU Alumni Ballroom at 6:30pm.
Help Needed from Senior Parents for Jr./Sr. After Party on April 21. Senior Parents we need your help! The Junior/Senior after party is the responsibility of the senior class parents. If you could help or would like to donate anything for this celebration please contact Mrs. Ortiz-Clark at email@example.com. More info to follow on location.
Caps and Gowns available May 1
Caps and Gowns will be available for pickup, in the high school office, on Monday, May 1st. Students cannot write or paint anything on the caps before graduation. The gown, cap, and tassel are yours to keep.

Graduation Practice on May 25
Graduation practice will take place on Friday, May 25th, from 11:30am-3:30pm. This practice is mandatory for all seniors. Failure to be at practice will result in not walking for graduation. TRBC would like to host a pizza lunch for the graduates 11:45am, in the Bruner Hall, right before graduation practice.
Graduation on May 26
A graduation reception will be held from 9:00-10:00am on Saturday, May 26th before graduation for each senior and 3 guests. You will receive tickets in the mail at a later date. Graduation will take place on Saturday, May 26th, at 11:00am, in the TRBC Worship Center. Dress code is as follows: Boys must be clean shaven and have school code haircuts. They must wear a tie with a white shirt, dark dress slacks (no jeans), socks and dress shoes (no tennis shoes or sandals). Girls are to wear a light colored dress. Bold colors and patterns tend to show through the white gowns. Skirt or dress length must be in accordance with school dress code expectations, which is top of the knee. Dress shoes (no flip flops or bare feet) are acceptable wear. A class picture will be taken at 10:00, that morning, in the LCA gym. You must wear your caps and gowns for the class picture.
