Middle School Positive Incentive Celebration
The Middle School Positive Incentive Celebration originally scheduled for Thursday, April 19, had to be canceled due to school being canceled earlier in the week as a result of the severe storms that went through our area. Although we were not able to hold the annual event, we are still recognizing students for their positive behavior, perfect attendance, etc. throughout the year. Drawings for gift cards and other donated items are taking place during lunches so that students can be recognized in front of their peers. Over 700 items were donated for this year’s event. We would like to thank the following sponsors for partnering with us again this year: Dairy Queen (Timberlake Road), Hardee’s, McDonalds, Chick-Fil-A (Wards Road), Lion and Lamb Café, Sodexo, Tropical Smoothie, Sheetz, Sweet Frog, and LCA Athletics.
11TH ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
Join LCA on Monday, May 14, for the 11th Annual Golf Classic! Spend your day with your team enjoying a provided lunch and golfing at Boonsboro Country Club! Sponsorship and teams welcome! Find the brochure online at www.lcabulldogs.com or email email@example.com for more information! It is not too late to sign up!
LCA Theatre Camp!
We are now taking registrations for the 2018 LCA Summer Theatre Camp. The LCA Theatre Camp will meet for two full weeks and is designed for the novice actor entering grades 2 through 9. The camp is an intensive introduction to acting and theatre for the beginning actor. Our goal is to teach basic acting skills to each child. We will introduce the campers to various aspects of acting and theatre such as improvisation, characterization, comedic acting, costuming, makeup, dramatic acting, set design, lighting, acting for film, stage fighting and many other areas. Each camper will have the opportunity to take part in a camp production where they will memorize lines, characterize, and demonstrate their acting and/or vocal talents. The camp takes place July 16 through the 27 and meets each weekday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for an informational / registration brochure or pick one up in the main lobby of LCA. Register soon as space is limited!
