A fund has been established in the memory of Jamie to benefit the LCA Marching Band and Fine Arts Department. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Jamie Holmes Memorial Fund c/o Liberty Christian Academy, 100 Mountain View road, Lynchburg, VA 24502-2272.

LCA HISTORY

Begun in 1967 as Lynchburg Christian Academy, the school developed as a ministry of Thomas Road Baptist Church to provide Christian education to children in central Virginia. The Academy, founded by Dr. Jerry Falwell, became a fully accredited institution, standing as a viable educational choice for parents who desired to have their children taught a Christian worldview from a Bible-based curriculum.
